Anniversary dinner with our two children, 8 and 10. We decided to sit out on the porch on a fairly humid June evening and the ceiling fans made for a nice breeze. We find most restaurants to be overly air-conditioned, but Metro 8 didn't seem like a fridge even when we walked in - that's a huge plus for me! Our waitress was very nice and attentive without interfering. She noted that it was nice to see kids with books (and math in our conversation) instead of iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were as advertised and delicious. So were the pages. Our girls loved their grilled chicken. Cocktails were good and just the right strength. Highly recommended.
After checking the online reviews, schedule a last minute business lunch. We were not disappointed. From the provolenta (I think that's the name) and stuffed prawn starters to the delicious fillet and the spread for the rolls, our meal was delicious. The owner was behind the bar and was very accommodating. I will definitely come back on my next visit to the area.
After my son graduated, we had dinner for 13 people. Cassie put us in the private dining room because it was too hot to be on the patio. The food and service were excellent. It was a wonderful cap for the day's events!
The steak was amazing. One of the best I've ever had. Service was a little slow but was worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to people. It was a pleasure

The food at this restaurant is exceptional, especially the Churrasco. The desserts are also delicious and the wine list is good. The ambiance is also worth noting.
Ideal for Father's Day because the portions are large and strong. Airy high ceilings. 'Frank Sinatra' music. Very pleasant.
