We use to come here often but the last 3 times each while the main dishes were fairly good (crab a bit dry) and the sides were Luke warm at best. For us not worth the cost. We were disappointed the place wasn't as we remembered. Dropped a buck twenty for 2 of us, could have done better with that money elsewhere. We really enjoyed our experience at Marblehead! The staff was very friendly and attentive, great atmosphere. The lobster bisque had so much flavor, and the scallops were buttery soft. This was our first visit, and we’re looking forward to coming back with friends and family! Terrible owners, fired about 100 employees with no warning at their restaurant in NJ (Red Lion Dinner). Then keep trying to lie about it lol. I had family working there so obviously I’m extra angry but what a terrible thing to do to employees that have worked for over a decade for you. I hope everything you are attached to, fails. My husband and I dined at this restaurant on Saturday. While our food was average, the service was excellent. However, my Manhattan didn’t taste or look quite right. Despite this, we would recommend trying this restaurant, and we plan to return soon for another visit. Food: 4 Service: 5 Atmosphere: 4
This is a fantastic classic seafood restaurant. I tried the seafood chowder and it was exceptional! The fish and chips are also outstanding. It's quite challenging to get a table on weekends; I made a reservation online at 9 AM and still ended up being seated at a table in the bar.
