We arrived without a reservation but the host managed to get a table for us on the well laid out terrace despite the restaurant seemed to be very popular and busy with the locals. Our waiter was very friendly, spoke excellent English and helped us...chose from a great variety of options on the menu. The food was really tasteful and nicely presented. The pepper sauce on the wiener-schnitzel was the best I ever had. The chef personally came and asked if we were enjoying the food. Aus der französischen Kultur kommend, bin ich recht kritisch beim Essen. Beim Marcels hat alles gestimmt. Wir haben schön im Innenhof gesessen, super zuvorkommende Bedienung und das Essen war hervorragend!!!! Ich habe selten so lecker gegessen. Lecker gewürzt mit frischen Zutaten, selbst zubereiteten Soßen. Ich konnte mein Gericht nach meiner Wahl zusammenstellen. EIn Lob an das Küchenteam. Preis-Leistungsverhältnis ist sehr gut.
Hier kann man richtig lecker Schlemmen in toller Atmosphäre.Der Service ist hervorragent und zuvorkommend.Der Koch, Wirt und Namensgeber ist eine Wucht.Fahrt hin und ihr werdet ihn kennen lernen.Wir waren mit 6 Personen da und jeder hat etwas anderes gegessen.Alle waren mehr als zufrieden und wir werden uns mit Sicherheit wieder dort treffen.Probiert die Steaks!!!

We had dinner here on a warm summer evening sitting on the porch. The food was really delicious, the staff attentive and friendly, and the atmosphere really nice and cozy. The restaurant may be a walk from the center of the city, but it is...worth every step. We had a really lovely night there. We would recommend making reservations well in advance to be sure.
