We celebrated our 50th anniversary at this wonderful restaurant, and it couldn't have been a better choice. The cocktails were fantastic, and every dish we ordered was superb, including the oyster shooters, black truffle burrata bruschetta, onion soup, grilled romaine salad, duck breast, and rib chop. The wine selection was also impressive. To top off our celebration, Marco surprised us with a dessert sampler, knowing it was our special anniversary.
I had another delightful meal at Marco's. I enjoyed some of my favorite dishes from the past and also tried a few new ones that I can definitely see becoming favorites in the future. The escargot, pâté, French onion soup, and Trout Almondine were all fantastic. For dessert, I savored a delicious custard whose name I can't quite remember. A great meal can truly brighten my day, especially since it hadn't started off well.
From the specialty cocktails, to the appetizer and salad, to the entrees and dessert, the meal was first rate-a truly gourmet experience. Marco's is a small, intimate place to dine. Great place to celebrate a special occasion or just treat yourself to a fine dining experience. My husband had the duck breast and I had the lamb chops. We split the scallop appetizer and the grilled romaine salad.
The food was exceptional. However, the service was a bit slow since our server was also the bartender, and he was quite busy. I was really disappointed with how poorly my leftover appetizer was packaged. There was a substantial amount left, but not all of it made it into the container. Next time, I'll take care of wrapping it up myself. Book a table now
Chef Marco's regular menu doesn't change much, but it doesn't need to. The dishes he does well are consistently delicious and never disappoint. We tried the Tiramisu for the first time last night and it was amazing, as was the cappuccino. The house Old Fashioned is also a favorite!
Very good overall, but not five stars, especially considering the prices. Mahi was over cooked and sauce good but nothing special. Lamb chops perfect medium rare and flavorful. Burnt bones were not attractive. Sat at the bar and service was outstanding.
Flawless! My third visit and each visit was consistently fantastic. Three different entrees all spectacular. The puff pastry escargot is a must! An expensive dinner, but well worth a visit several times a year.
