We celebrated our anniversary with our two children, ages 8 and 10, at Metro 8 restaurant. Opting to dine on the porch on a warm June evening, we enjoyed the pleasant breeze from the ceiling fans. Unlike many restaurants that are too cold due to air-conditioning, Metro 8 had a comfortable temperature. Our waitress was friendly and attentive, remarking on our children reading books and discussing math instead of being on iPads. The steaks my husband and I ordered were delicious, as were the sides. Our daughters enjoyed their grilled chicken. The cocktails were well-made and just the right strength. We highly recommend Metro 8 for a family night out.
After checking online reviews, schedule a last minute business lunch. We were not disappointed. From the provolenta (I think that's the name) and stuffed prawn starters to the delicious fillet and the spread for the rolls, our meal was delicious. The owner was behind the bar and was very accommodating. I will definitely come back on my next visit to the area.
After my son's graduation, we had dinner for 13 people. Cassie put us in the private dining room because it was too hot to be on the patio. The food and service were excellent. It was a wonderful cap for the events of the day!
The steak was amazing. One of the best I've ever had. Service was a little slow, but it was worth the wait. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to people. It was a pleasure

Ideal for Father's Day as the portions are large and hearty. Airy high ceilings. Music of the type 'Frank Sinatra'. Very pleasant.
