My daughter, granddaughter, and I visited this restaurant to celebrate my birthday, and we had a fantastic experience. The entire staff is incredible and very friendly, especially our waiter, Veronica. They all sang "Happy Birthday" to me, which was so heartfelt. The food was absolutely delicious, truly excellent, and the margaritas were just as good. The authentic music and warm atmosphere made us feel right at home. Thank you, and gracias, for welcoming my family into the Margaritas Oak Park family! Viva!
As always, my experience here was fantastic! The staff is wonderful, the horchata is delicious, and this time we tried the margarita skillet, which was outstanding. They consistently go above and beyond, making it a place I plan to visit as often as I can. I returned again and was delighted to see that our server, Veronica, is as dedicated as ever, providing excellent service. Plus, the food was, as usual, absolutely delicious!
The food was exceptional, the service was excellent, and the portion sizes were generous. I usually don’t write reviews, but this experience truly deserved it. Many restaurants have struggled with service and food quality since COVID, but this one has managed to maintain high standards. This was my first visit, and it definitely won’t be my last!
Love this small and intimate place. Flavorful food and inviting service. Everyone from the hostess to the server was welcoming and kind. Food is freshly prepared and seasoned perfectly. Margaritas were amazing with the perfect amount of tequila. My new favorite spot. Street parking is available but may be challenging on the weekends.

The atmosphere was charming, filled with a rich display of art and history that I genuinely enjoyed. The menu offered a fantastic variety that perfectly complemented the overall experience.
Every dish at Margaritas is bland and devoid of flavor; it seems they shy away from using any bold spices that might challenge their customers. When this place was Lalo's, I assume the recipes went with them because the current menu is uninspired and lacks creativity.
Service was great but the food was okay. My boyfriend ordered a $22 entree that was 80% onions. Another downside was that the food gave me a bit of a stomachache afterwards :
