Placed a carry out order and showed up 5 minutes later. I was welcomed by a warm and inviting environment, and charming staff to boot. The place is set up really nice, feels homey and classy but comfortable and inviting. I was served a delicious complimentary tea while waiting for my order, it was a spiced milk tea, my guess is with clove and maybe star anise. Super unique and delicious, very much appreciated and enjoyed on the crisp morning I went in. The food was delicious and seasoned very well. Service, food and atmosphere all 10/10. Well done.
The most frustrating aspect was the service, which was nothing short of terrible. During the more than hour we spent there, the waiter never once checked on us. The female server passed by our table multiple times without even offering a greeting or asking if we needed anything. It seems they may no longer prioritize politeness or good service to earn tips since they automatically add a gratuity fee, regardless of the quality of service provided. I can't recommend this place at all.
I visited Marib Restaurant in Springfield after receiving recommendations for Yemeni food from my previous post. I enjoyed the Tandoori Bread along with Zahawig (a cream cheese salsa), as well as Fahsa and Saltah (not sure about the spelling). I also tried the Lamb Mandi. I absolutely loved all these dishes, and the service was fantastic. Our waitress was very attentive!

We came for lunch and had an amazing meal. My Yemeni friend suggested we order: Shafout, Zahawiq with cheese, Chicken mandi, Lamb haneeth, Qulabah, Susi and for dessert Bint al Sahn and Fattah. Everything was delicious, flavorful, and freshly made. I will definitely be back soon. And I noticed they offer catering too!
The fasoulia and bread were delightful. The kibdah was absolutely mouthwatering and cooked to perfection; I've never had kibdah quite like this before. The service and atmosphere were excellent. And I must mention, their milk tea is smooth, creamy, and incredibly soothing.
We had a huge group and the staff were so friendly and took care of us so well! We had to be rolled out at the end of the night because we ate so well! From appetizers, a whole lamb, dessert and tea: it was incredible! We’ll be coming back again soon!
I had the lamb and chicken mandi, and while the shank was a bit on the smaller side, it was packed with flavor. Bait Al Mandi in Um Al Hamam, Riyadh, KSA remains my gold standard for mandi. I'm still on the lookout for the perfect one!

The best lamb I’ve ever had! We ordered Bormah, lamb Haneeth, and fries for the kids. The food was served really quickly. I highly recommend this place!
