Mariscos El Cangrejo Nice

Came by for lunch to try El Cangrejo Mariscos which was recommended to me by a friend.I arrived right before the lunch rush and good thing because when I was leaving it was packed.The restaurant is very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. Daisy brought chips and salsa and took my drink order. By the time she came back with the drink I knew I was in for a delicious meal. When you taste the salsa you will know what I mean. Great flavor and just the right amount of heat.Of course I have to order my go to Camarones a la Diabla. My family and were regulars since pre Covid. However the changes in staff have made it very unpleasant for us to continue being regulars. We decided to come and give this play another try. Was disappointed once again. Took our waitress 20min to even come to our table. Mind you the place wasn’t even full. Our food took long as usual. We had ordered basic items , shrimp cocktail, quesadilla and chicken nuggets for my kids. When food came out it wasn’t even hot. Reminded my husband why we will not be returning.

Don’t recommend this place, carne asada was old and bathed in oil , plus the ceviche was old and no flavor. For 50 dollars your better off going to Ricardo’s on beach Blvd
