As a NJ resident (born raised) I’ve hit many diners but THIS ONE TAKES THE CAKE. Shay with her amazing hospitality made sure everything wasn’t just great but also gave me my time/space to enjoy myself. Mike gave amazing recommendations since I was new to the diner, I even took home a burger he recommended (10/10) with steak fries. Whiskey loves this is the SPOT!! I will definitely be back with not only myself but friends/family. Thank you again for an amazing experience!
On a positive note, the portion size was quite large, and the side salad was more substantial than expected, almost like a mini entrée. Check out the pictures! The waitstaff were very friendly, and the restaurant was busy on Sunday morning, so be prepared for a possible wait. While the prices are a bit on the higher side, I believe they reflect the quality of the food. Overall, I would definitely return the next time I'm in the area.
Everything about this place was great, service phenomenal and the restaurant was very clean, but don’t order the Cajun shrimp wrap. My best bet is to order a burger because that was one of only things that really hit the spot. Also had a piece of cheesecake that started taking the cheese part literally (mold) Not to mention the portion sizes have gotten smaller and the prices slightly higher….
Stopped here from out of state on our road trip. Attempted Applebee's first and there was a long wait. Decided to go to Mark Twain Diner instead and we were pleasantly surprised. One gentleman, Jim, had a great sense of humor and gave our 3 kids notepads, colored pencils and toys for our ride. We were happy with our choice! Book a table now
This restaurant offers great value for money, and the service is excellent. It's one of the better diners in the area. For vegetarians, there are plenty of options, ranging from egg dishes to salads. If you have dietary restrictions and need to reduce your salt intake, be sure to reach out for assistance with your meal.
Every time we order from Mark Twain, our food is always incorrect. When we call and speak to the manager, he simply tells us that if the order is wrong, we should just address it with him. What can I say? The manager is rude. We won’t be ordering from Mark Twain anymore.
