I arrived before my guests and asked the waitress to please give me a separate check. When I placed my order, I asked for iced tea with lemon on the side. The waitress brought ice on the side (there was no mention of ice) and lemon swimming in the tea. At the end of the meal, she handed one check to the male guest at the table. This was so embarrassing as I had ordered the most expensive item on the meal, for which I had intended to pay. The most important skills a waitress can have is listening. She did not!
We loved eating at Marketplace Cafe, then shopping at the Anniversary Sale. A convenient and no stress way to shop with my husband who hates shopping for men’s clothes. Good job, NORDSTROM! We’ll return today without him to do the “girl shopping.” And we’ll eat at Marketplace again because we like it. ;
Our experience at Marketplace Cafe in Nordstrom Montgomery Mall was generally pleasant, but the noise level was an issue. The restaurant was only about half full, yet it felt quite loud. I noticed a lack of sound-dampening features, which should definitely be taken into account.
Angelia is wonderful and we enjoy seeing her every time we visit. The Cafe is a hidden gem with outstanding service and fabulous food. Thanks to the Chefs for keeping the menu consistent with our favs along with offering a few some new items to try.

I really love Nordstrom Marketplace Cafe! The food is great, the seating is very comfortable, and it's wonderful to have that option in the mall.
Have taken my elderly parents here frequently as it is reliable food and service with a low enough noise level to talk across the table.
I sometimes come to Nordy just for the cafe! Their chicken Caesar salad is the absolute best and the servers are wonderful!
Everything was fantastic, from the food to the service. We particularly loved the outdoor dining area.

Marketplace needs a facelift. Very old and tired. Service was extremely slow.
