My wife and I were looking for vegetarian options and looked at the menu outside this attractive entrance. We were convinced that it was worth a try. Entered straight into a cosy and well patronised space and wondering where to seat ourselves. Out came the...man from behind the bar and quickly took charge of the situation. Offered us a place in the bar and got his staff to clear a table for us. Very welcoming. A few minutes later we were seated in a warm and friendly environment with a few vegetarian choices to make. We were really disappointed. After reading some reviews we expected a little more from this place. I admit that we got there late therefore we had only the option of a cold dish, which we didn't have a problem with. The Wurstsalat though tasted very...dull and was served with baguette (we were looking forward to real German bread). Also, we ordered a bottle of water which was way overpriced, € really? You can get a case of bottles for that price and we were not allowed to take it with us. We even offered to pay the deposit fee for it. But they still declined. I can't see why that would be a problem. Maybe German mentality?
A real German restaurant experience. Loads of beers, loads of food and a lot of dishes to choose from. Definitely need to go back to try the rest of it. Portions are really generous and prices are fair. Service is great. Definitely worh a visit....If you're alone (or a couple) try to sit a the bar. There is an hidden table behind the bar. Probably the best spot.
We arrived just after on a Sunday for a relaxed bite to eat with children and adults. The sun was shining so we sat outdoors. Service was friendly the flammkuecken (think very thin pizza base smeared with fresh soft cheese and...backed with bacon and onion) excellent and the alcohol free Weizenbeer just the thing for a long leisurely lunch.

We are often and, besides the good beers, here you can eat delicious Flammkuchen (honestly, the best I have eaten so far). We also tried the meat, it was cooked very well (I asked for a blue steak). The personnel is also kind and nice!...Highly suggested pub/restaurant!
Nice Stube on the square, possibility to sit outside. Food is German, is option of Schnitzel, Wurst, etc. But also lots of venison options. Inside nice as well. Nice beers to enjoy with dinner or with football/soccer.
Very nice atmosphere In the middle of downtown Walldorf. Sat outside on a couple occasions summer Many regulars/locals. Good schnitzel, good sausages, great beer and friendly service.
Nothing fancy about this restaurant/bar but if you're looking for local food served with a friendly smile at a good price, this place fits the bill. Good relaxed atmosphere.

In the evening, outside on the platz, with excellent Flammkuchen. Excellent taste, and atmosphere. The most popular place for a meal in Walldorf.
Nice local restaurant with yummy regional food. Owner hunts and serves deer specialities. Indoor Biergarten for soccer watching is nice.
