Ice cream used to be really good with special flavours and was genuinely good quality. But have noticed it’s going downhill, except the prices which is now central London level. They now only have the most bog standard flavour which you could find in any supermarket and the cones are often stale. Each time I made an excuse for them thinking it’s a one off. Person behind counter played with her phone even though there was a queue, then gave me the smallest scoops I’d ever seen. Even for half the price I’d feel cheated I do know the normal size! When I told her she just rolled her eyes. The attitude is we have enough business from tourists who are happy to be ripped off. As a local resident and frequent visitor I was so disappointed when I ordered something different today. I went for spaghetti vongela and when it arrived there were five empty clam shells on top of the spaghetti. When I asked the waitress why the shells were empty she told me “the contents are in the middle of the spaghetti” and pointed to the middle and said there’s one, unfortunately it wasn’t and was a bit of broken shell. Very disappointing, poor value for money, poor customer service and sadly will not be going back or recommending the restaurant to anyone else! So could easily have been sorted.
Great place. Brilliant Ice cream, lots of flavours and nice cones with it. Only downside is the long queues waiting for an ice cream. If you go into the restaurant there's great pizza and pasta dishes. Do a lot of seafood pasta dishes. In busy times you probably will have needed to book especially for a family

A lovely independent family run Italian restaurant serving their legendary ice cream, arguably the best ice cream in Brighton. The staff are always happy and friendly. The food's great, and so is the coffee.
A popular place and had to wait for 20 mins to get serve, I chose the Caramel Sundae, which it was ok, should really picked another flavour! I will go there again though!
