We were looking forward to visiting for brunch after seeing Nowhere Man on social media. It was a good change to try pancakes made in an independent establishment such as this one. We did have to wait a long time for seating, but once we were in we had a great table location by the window. Our dog appreciated this too! We both chose to add blueberry compote to one of the tiers of pancake options; it's such a worthwhile consideration of the business to let you have a level of freedom in customising your own meal, while also offering pancakes with particular sets of toppings. Visited due to good reviews, and the pancakes were tasty (a little on the pricey side perhaps two portions of pancakes, a tea and a coffee was over £28). Good vegan and gluten free options. Let down terribly by the service. We wondered why it was taking so long to get a table. We were in a queue that was outside the front entrance. There were 3 tables free for a while, but they hadn’t been cleaned or even acknowledged by the staff for over 10 minutes (they were stood behind the counter chatting with eachother or on their phones). I decided to come here for a friends birthday and saw that on their Instagram that they are gluten free friendly. As a celiac I was excited to be able to eat pancakes out. Upon arrival I asked how they go about making sure there is no cross contamination, I was told if I’m a celiac I shouldn’t eat here as they can’t promise my food won’t be contained as it’s small kitchen. There was nothing indicating this on their Instagram or menu. If you advertise you provide gluten free food you need to highlight if it’s suitable or not for celiacs. Not just for the fads.
Haven't had a chance to visit for a while, but I thoroughly enjoyed my return, which I celebrated with a delicious pile of soft fluffy pancakes served with crisp bacon and lashings of maple butter, and a very well-flavoured decaffeinated coffee. Still the same cosy relaxed atmosphere, staff were friendly and attentive, and I hope to visit again soon.

Had a really great coffee, and the menu has plenty of Vegan options and alternatives. Their pancakes selection looks awesome, and their bagels are great too. Really cool, relaxing little indie place definitely worth a visit if you want a quick place to stop.
Nice atmosphere, delicious food, quick service and fast wifi. We only had minor complaints (most water jugs weren’t full, felt there wasn’t enough bacon on the pancakes) but overall a very nice casual breakfast café!

We have been here for breakfast and the pancakes are fab! Now have had an overflowing bagel for lunch which is equally as brilliant.
Great venue and breakfast Lots of choice and very accommodating with the menu always want a sweet and sour choice didn’t disappoint
