I happen to be a very big fan of food!! I ate a big dinner and then went here to get cake and coffee, but I made a bad mistake and ate too much and it didn't make fun for me!! I'm trying not to create all of you, because I know that some of you may eat right now, but I think you can start from where I come from!! I was always here when I lived in ny. but after I was plant-based, I thought there was nothing I could eat here. so I was happy to find they had some vegan options (individual cake slices, few cookies). the pie options they had available today were strawberry cheesecakes, chocolate wing cakes and carrot cakes. I really liked the taste and the texture of the strawberry cheesecake... not sure what it is made, I don't think it's cashew. textur is very similar to normal cheesecake. from here recently stopped on a trip to astoria and was pleasantly surprised to find so many vegan options in this cheerful country style caffe. I had the vegan carrot cake (buff chocolate cake and strawberry cheesecake were also in offer along with some cookies). Carrot cake was dense, filled with cocose, nuts and rusty, but not oily. the icing was easy and nothing was too sweet. I can't wait for my next trip to this hub so I can try the others
The amount of options they have is overwhelming! In a good way... Any dessert desire you have can probably be satisfied here. I got the berry napoleon and it was so good. The cream, the flocky crust, all berries and the size! It was huge, so the $8 was worth it.
