Good sushi- the lunch special, $11 for 3 rolls with soup or salad, is a pretty good deal. They forgot both of the salads with my takeout.When I picked up my takeout order, I double-checked the name on the only bag by the front door. Someone from the restaurant came running out of the restaurant screaming at me to stop. She was mad I didn't wait for her and identify myself; ok, I've NEVER had to show ID or verify a takeout order. Maybe double check the orders have everything in the bag instead of getting mad people aren't checking in first.
The restaurant is wonderful. The prices are excellent, especially if you pay in cash, making it a fantastic value. It’s ideal for groups, couples, and singles alike. Service is prompt, and even when the place is quiet, you’ll notice the kitchen busy preparing a lot of to-go orders, which is always a great sign of quality food. We happily make a 50-minute drive to visit, as it's definitely worth it. It's also the only place where I can enjoy the seaweed salad, which has the perfect balance of flavors.
We enjoyed ourselves. The selection is quite good and the food was tasty (not mind blowing but definitely good) but the service was super slow probably since it's super packed. Like others I was skeptical of the discount for cash but i guess... Just makesure you bring cash? Quality is pretty decent and paying cash makes the prices really reasonable (not paying cash makes it a bitsteep) although some items like the hibachi dinners do not come with a discount.
Masago is a must, the cash prices are incredible, the food is fresh, and of course BYO. Service is OK but not terrible. I have been in there when it's been wildly busy so consider that before walking in on a Friday night and expect to just sit. If ordering out I suggest calling the order vs online orders. I've had to wait 1.5 before because I think they put online orders to the back. My go to sushi spot for quality and value.

You cannot eat here. Maybe pick up. They focus 90% of their business on the takeout so you're gonna wait forever if you sit down. The owner of the place is rude to his staff. We ordered something and it came out wrong when we returned it the owner said we could not return it. Even though I was allergic to what they brought to me. It's such a shame for seven dollars he lost us as a customer.
Great prices and portions! Good if you are looking for a casual dinner at a low price. Both items came with a side of rice, and the tofu teriyaki came with soup salad (great deal! . It's BYOB as well. We went on a Friday and had to wait ~20 minutes for a table, which wasn't too bad.
Great experience at this well-established, centrally-located Morristown sushi spot. Sat at the chefs’ counter. Sushi was fresh. There’s a 50% discount if you pay with cash over credit card.
Lunch was tasty, especially salmon (it was crispy and had delicious sauce) and eel avocado roll ???? Even the staff was not very friendly, the food was amazing
