Ordered vegetarian thali was very disappointed. Had a a touch of the Delhi Belly the next day I've got a cast iron constitution. The portions were tiny please see photos with egg cup for comparison. 3 pieces of paneer is just plain stingy the taste of the dhal curry was bland uninspiring. The nann bread was cardboard like/ stale didn't seem fresh at all. Will not be returning am amazed/ suspicious ot the other positive reviews . Really very good experience. We did party for 10 guys. Food was delicious. We have some vegetarian friends i ask cheff sumit to arrange something special for them and he make special malai soya chaap which is not in menu. Food served hot. Staff is really good. And after Resturant hours he allowed us to dance as well. One thing i find special is MHS special naan. Highly recommended for parties and dine in.
I came to Tassie for work and had a dinner at this place last night some rice, nan, lamp, butter chicken and yoghurt. Not sure what’s contaminated, I couldn’t work today and still struggling with upset stomach and fever. Not even sure if I can be able to fly back today! What a terrible experience. Chicken biriyani from masala hut, overall it was good but the onions in the biriyani were burnt and it took them 30 mins to get my biriyani ready after my order (which is a long time), apart from that, the customer service was great, car park are easily available if you go after business hours. The food quality was also good. The packaging was good as well.

Went there for dinner on yesterday. One of the best place in Hobart for Tandoori Chicken. Chef’s special biryani and raita was awesome in taste. Highly recommended for North Indian cuisine and don’t miss their Sweet n Mango Lassi…

Ordered the takeaway 'Home Alone ' deal butter chicken. Came with naan, papadums, raita and rice. Generous serving. Quality ingredients. A sweet butter chicken, not overly spicy. Recommended.
