thai has become one of my favourites, and the courts at royal thai have only strengthened this. I almost covered most Thai restaurants in north hobart and that felt almost as if I had the best for the last time. I was met with friendly service as soon as I came in. I already had an idea of what I wanted to eat. I started with cup goldens as a $10.95 for 4 cups,) the tasted great. I followed it with gai katiem $18.95) for the main. that was perhaps the best garlic chicken I had so far. there is a beautiful ambiente in the inner and the personal did really a great job with service friendly and helpful. next time I think it will be with a few friends, so we can take one of the buffet offers and...
Really great Thai restaurant on Elizabeth Street in Hobart. Firstly this restaurant has a great vegetarian menu. From this we ordered the vegetarian Pad Thai and the tofu with cashews. Both of which were really good. For dessert we had a mango with sticky rice, which was also excellent. The restaurant also has quite a good wine list full of Tasmanian wines. None of the wines on the list appeared to have any significant mark up, which is an added bonus. We had the 2018 Freycinet Vinyards reisling off the list, which was a real winner. Plus the staff could not be more helpful and friendly. This restaurant comes recommended.
we were looking for a good Thai restaurant and royal thai came very recommended and I can see why. the atmosphere was pulsating on a Saturday night, but thanks to the spacious restaurant it did not feel too cramped. beautiful pretty of traditional decor around the place of the service and the staff were excellent. the food was generous in portion sizes and tasted authentic, tasteful and many great offers. especially enjoyed the fish cakes that really tasted very fresh.
loving Thai restaurant with excellent aromen for all dishes ordered royal pad thai, royal thai seafood curry and yum pla muek salat. cream of seafood curry absolutely beautiful, but rather sharp. I needed a side reis. crooked are small portions, but willing to pay prices for the quality of the dishes. beautiful atmosphere, furniture, settings and ambiente. large Thai food.

we celebrate here in this restaurant a great evening. eating were so delicious! we were also treated with two glasses champagne for our special day! the staff was very friendly, courteous and so gentle and the service is excellent! we will definitely come back here for our next celebration and it is highly recommended if they love Thai food!
beautiful place with elegant decor and eating was a w e s o m e loved it, best green curry in hobart so far. yes, a little pricy, but definitiw every single cent worth! my 3 year old daughters also enjoyed the pad thai and enjoyed the mood. and oh, before I forget, service was amazing. many thanks to royal thai, we are safe back!
We have been there 3 times and every time the food was consistent and very tasty. Great hospitality. We decided to have our graduation dinner there for 25 people, it was definitely worth it. Food was great even though we all ordered ala carte. Definitely one of our favourite restaurants now.
My girlfriend and I went to have our dinner there. Service was excellent, and food was amazing. Pad Thai was perfect, flavour is unique. My girlfriend ordered a dried rice with pineapple, it was delicious. Both dishes were a good portion. We will come back for sure
