The staff at Mastro 's is always top notch. Notably, our server (Erika) was appropriately attentive and helpful. Everything from the steaks to the side dishes were done very well, as usual. We are never disappointed with the steaks. The 'only ' exception was the asparagus, which was a bit fibrous. We would have been happy with the tips, which eliminates much of the fibrous lower stalk, but I understand customers tend to want the full stalk. On the positive side, the halibut was thick and perfectly seared. Some of the best halibut we 've ever had, as it can be difficult to cook such a delicate fish. Sitting in the bar area is annoying because of the music lol. I’ve been here a few times before and this was the first time dining in the bar area, the only problem would be the music being too loud. Service and food here is pretty good though.
