It was National Ice Cream Day, and it was my first visit to this place. When I arrived at the counter, I found three employees all focused on their phones, and none of them noticed me. I had to say "Hi!" to get any attention, and only one of them looked up. I mentioned that it was my first time there and asked how the ordering process worked. I stopped by to get a treat for my daughter a full 20 minutes before closing. The girl working the booth had an attitude from the moment I stepped up. I told her which gelato flavors, which dip, and then asked to start picking the toppings (which is kind of the whole gimmick of this place to begin with) and she said “I can’t do toppings. I already put away the spoons.” Uh, so get them back out? If she wasn’t going to serve me the entire item I was purchasing she should have said so at the beginning. It was a very amazing experience going to the Fantasticks in One Loudon. The employees there are very nice and patient when it comes to ordering your iccream. The only thing that was not the best wad that the iscream was very rich. This could be something that I have only experienced seeing as I have many times been told that I have a very sensitive taste palate but regardless it us a very good place to take family and friends. Another thing that could have been a little better was that every space that was not a patio or store was covered with small children and big children running around everywhere you look. The atmosphere at this restaurant is fantastic, with well-spaced seating arrangements. Thanks to our advance booking, we were promptly seated at our table. It's important to note that reservations are required for parties of 7 or more, although this information was not clear on the online booking system. The Old Fashioned cocktail was excellent, and the bread was so delicious that we couldn't resist finishing it all. The pizza was tasty, and the crab cake sandwich was good. Overall, our experience was worth it. This is a great place to visit with family, as there are many nearby attractions to enjoy as well.

It has been a hot hot summer in the DC metro and many other regions of the world. On this last day of official summer, what is a better way to say good bye than getting a real good ice cream! I was lazying the afternoon in One Loudoun and craved for an ice cream aqll on a sudden. Enter Fantasticks, I have seen bunch of customers always having fun there, so I gave it a try. They have a number of flavors and toppings, selected caramel and lemon. It was damn good!
Last night, we enjoyed a fantastic Sunday dinner at this restaurant, thanks to our wonderful server, Marina. The fig and blue cheese pizza was scrumptious, and the drinks and coffee were equally delightful. Even with the thunderstorm raging outside, Marina made us feel special and at ease. Her service was exceptional, allowing us to take our time without feeling rushed. Overall, we felt well cared for and had a truly lovely dining experience.
We loved this concept! You choose your flavor of gelato pop (ice cream on a stick) and you can add a chocolate dip, drizzle and toppings. Vegan options are marked. I got the strawberry gelato pop with a chocolate dip and vegan sprinkles. It was delish!! They also have gelato scoops with marked vegan options. Totally Instagrammable and a fun after-dinner snack at the mall makes it worth a visit!
Oh my gosh. Best food I?ve had around here. Absolutely amazing. The Nashville chicken sandwich with the pretzel bun was bursting with flavor. The drinks were delicious as well. Will definitely be coming back here. BE WARNED that the spicy pizza is SPICY (I was sweating and I love spicy food). Also loved the ambience/interior design. Will be back!
