Our food was delicious! I had the pan fried chicken, my wife had the crab-stuffed whitefish. The ambience was comfortable and pleasant, not too loud. HOWEVER..... When we arrived for our 5pm reservation, the hostess seated us immediately and served us our 2 glasses of water. Unfortunately, after that it was nearly 15 minutes before our server came to our table to start our order. This despite the hostess passing our table several times and several staff members congregating by the bar. Not sure what happened but it seemed as though the rest of the staff was unaware that there was a new table waiting to be served. I am SHOCKED this place isn’t packed every second it’s open. I recently discovered it and I’m not sure I even want to go anywhere else after experiencing this place. If you want the best f in’ food and drinks- go here. Do you like food that makes you feel like you’re on the best high of your life? Then go here. It’s an experience.
Cozy neighborhood feel to this diner. Surprisingly well done food from soup to sandwiches to blackened fish. We have also greatly enjoyed their breakfast menu on other visits!
We’re from out of town and This was a great restaurant with superb food for our family. Would definitely come back next time we’re in town.
