I visit Matchless for breakfast once a week. The service is great, food is well prepared, eggs are the best, and coffee is consistently good. I read the papers and watch the rush of Glenferrie Rd, and focus on a hard morning's consulting. There's variety and best of all, no mass production. Each order is prepared carefully, efficiently and the two blokes who run the place enjoy the early morning banter with regulars. It has a really local buzz.
We thoroughly enjoyed our breakfast made to order while enjoying our first coffees of the day. The atmosphere of this cozy cafe, filled with art, provided a perfect escape from the outside world. We loved our breakfast and the delicious orange flourless cake we shared. I would recommend this spot for friends, couples, or anyone looking for a quick and enjoyable meal.
We enjoyed a delightful raclette dinner at this restaurant. When we called, they were fully booked so we made a reservation for the following day.
