Food was good I went there twice now . The first time I would give it 3 out of 5 starts the 2nd time I went was completely awful ! Requested a normal table not a high top . They ended up putting my party of 3 into a high top near the bar and waited about 10-15 minutes before the server came to our table . Our server was also one of the bartenders which took away from the service provided to my party . We put in our order and it took them almost an hour before our food was brought over . I ordered dinner from here last night, and it was absolutely incredible. I can't wait to dine at the restaurant in person. The gnocchi was incredibly fresh, and the portions were generous. I could only finish a third of my meal, so I got to enjoy the rest for lunch today.
This was my first visit, and it will be my last. The service was incredibly slow, and the food was at best average. Everything took a long time to arrive, and some of our guests were left waiting for their dishes while others had already finished eating.
I love Matteo. They have a great happy hour and their wood fired pizza is the best in St. Pete, nice and thin with a good crust. I also love their gnocchi, they have a bunch of different options. I personally like it with bolognaise.

As for parking, the restaurant opens at 5 PM, and there is street parking available at that time. However, it becomes more difficult to find nearby parking as the evening goes on.
