Yes, the restaurant was slammed with football fans, but despite the long waits we had a fantastic time upstairs at the bar. Tania the bartender was top notch and made sure we were well taken care of while we waited for our dinner to come out. We’ve both worked in the service industry before and completely understand how stressful nights like this can be on a restaurant staff- so we were so thankful for Tania’s good humor and conversation. The wings and quesadillas really hit the spot after a busy day. We really enjoyed our time at Max Lagers and will definitely come back to try some of the pizza next time.
After a long day of traveling, we arrived in town late and found Max Lagers conveniently located just down the street from our Airbnb. We tried the smoked wings, cheese bread, and a variety of entrees. The food was reasonably priced, well-presented, and overall better than many meals I've had before. The service was good, although our server seemed to be at the end of a long shift, which was noticeable. Overall, we had a pleasant experience. If we were in a hurry and needed a late meal, we would definitely come back. There are still a few items on the menu that I’m curious to try.
I had a wonderful lunch here! We ordered a few drinks and tried several dishes. The fish tacos were exceptional! We also enjoyed the fish and chips, chicken sandwich, and a salad. To begin, we had the mac and cheese. We paired everything with a few pints of their beer, which we thoroughly enjoyed! The service was outstanding as well. Thank you for a fantastic lunch!
As first-time visitors, we decided to give this restaurant a try based on its excellent reviews, and we were not disappointed. Our waiter was not only skilled at his job but also entertaining, which added to our experience. The ribeye was fantastic!

The staff here is genuinely some of the nicest I've encountered. The atmosphere is pleasant, the food is enjoyable, but what really stood out to me was the friendliness and warmth of the staff. You don't find that every day.
Christopher was our server and he was awesome!! Food was also super delicious but he made our experience so much fun. Definitely a memorable dining experience and I will definitely come back when in town!
The food is delicious and the service is great. The restaurant can be a bit noisy, making it hard to have conversations, but overall it is a great discovery in Atlanta.
