I'm basing my review solely on the gyro I had today. The meat was tough and full of gristle, and the cucumber sauce was disappointingly bland—it’s a key ingredient, and it didn’t seem like much effort went into it. A better recipe could be found with just a quick Google search. Overall, it was such a disappointing gyro, and considering that gyros are usually hard to mess up, I can't help but feel hesitant about returning, especially if this is their standard. Additionally, the counter staff could have been more pleasant; a friendlier demeanor would have helped improve the experience.
Regarding vegetarian options, I wouldn’t recommend this location as the selection is limited and everything is cooked in the same oil.
On the bright side, it's kid-friendly! They offer plenty of options like fries, chicken nuggets, pizza puffs, and I think I even saw chicken tenders, though I can't recall clearly.
As for parking, there are plenty of open spots available. There is also a ramp to access the strip sidewalk, but unfortunately, there isn’t designated dining space for wheelchairs.
I highly recommend this restaurant! The Maxwell Polish is amazing, and my kids devoured a triple cheeseburger, finishing every last bite. Both meals were enormous and incredibly satisfying. The fresh-cut fries were a delightful addition. Living in Wisconsin, we don't have access to food this good, so I'm really grateful for the excellent service we received. Food rating: 5/5.
As I am new to this area, finding Maxwell's Beef close to home was awesome! I know they've been around for some time but I just got here a year ago. The burgers are the best I've eaten since I've got to Illinois! I also like a few other items but the burgers are the best!Food: 5/5

I have been going here for years it's just so good. Fresh cut fries, gyros plate is like 2 or 3 meals worth make sure to order an extra pita or 2 as well. Support a small busy and enjoy good food. Hot dogs come with fries around $8 and gyro plate with fries $15.Food: 5/5
I had a taste for an Italian beef sandwich and tried this place. I must say I was pleasantly surprised how good the sandwich was. I got it wet (dipped in au-jus) which just made it even better.Food: 5/5
Not a pleasant place to eat especially with the fans and AC on when it was 50 out.Italian Sausage? Stay away. Over cooked and flavorless for $8+. Fries? Hard to describe. Maybe other things are good...
Owner is a great guy. Gave our 7 year old a free medium lemon Italian ice. Had a great chat with him about the restaurant industry as well. Good beef sandwich, amazing Italian ice, homemade too.

I am gluten free, but.....they cut and make their own fries...first win...fry only fries in the fryer. Then they did me a bun less burger...heaven!!Food: 5/5
