We waited for 15 minutes without anyone coming to assist us in the restaurant. Finally got a waiter's attention and asked to place our order. The waiter explained that they were very busy and asked us to please be patient. After waiting for 10 more minutes without even being served water, we noticed a couple who arrived after us already had their drinks. We decided to leave and went to Pirozzi next door, where we were able to enjoy drinks and appetizers within 10 minutes.
Staff was great, very polite and attentive. Definitely great service.We felt The food was overpriced for the portion size and the quality. Had better more authentic Indian food at Bristol farms and whole foods deli sections.Places very empty when we went there on a Friday night, based on our opinion of the food, this isn't surprising.Was dimly lit.Parking was a major hassle.
The service at this restaurant was extremely poor. The waiter was rude, impatient, and condescending. The food, however, was delicious. It's hard to enjoy a meal when you are treated poorly. I felt like I was in a less developed part of the world. The waiter had no excuse for his behavior, it seemed like that was just his natural demeanor.
THE BEST INDIAN FOOD! My friend, who is from Mumbai, India, and I dined here and were amazed by the authenticity of this Indian cuisine. We enjoyed the chickpea masala curry with garlic naan bread. We had a wonderful experience at Mayur. The food was delicious and the staff was attentive. The drinks were great too. We were seated at a private table where we could easily converse. I highly recommend this restaurant.
The food is fabulous and the service is perfect!! It is a great place to go with friends and share lots of food. The chicken Tikka is delicious and you've got to try the Vegetable Pakoras. The best Raita I've ever had!
Food was good but the waiter kept trying to rush us to order even though the restaurant was pretty empty. Nothing worse than going to a nice restaurant and having them keep asking are you ready to order?
