The woman who took our order had difficulty getting it right and had to ask us several times before she finally understood. My wife ordered a salad and specifically asked for no chicken, yet it arrived with chicken on it, which she had to remove herself. I ordered a Spud, but it was cold and tasted stale, as though it had been left out for a long time. This was the worst experience I've ever had at a McAlister Deli.
The food is fantastic! I would give it 4 stars because we often pick up from here for work at least twice a week, but there are times when the food isn’t ready at the promised time, and occasionally there are mistakes with our orders. However, it’s not problematic enough for us to avoid this place like we do with some others in the area.
The food seemed reasonable, but the man behind the counter really dampened the atmosphere when we arrived, especially with so many other customers around. If I had spent $14 on just bread, mustard, and turkey, I wouldn't have expected such a lackluster experience.

It was surprisingly busy add crowded when we came to lunch before noon on a Sunday. I wish the French Dip was 1/3 bigger, but dang, that au jus is TASTY.
