This McAlister's is very community friendly. It seemed like there were a lot of regulars around when I came. So that was nice. Great community atmosphere feel. However, I wish I could say the same about the service and food. Upon ordering, I felt rushed, the cashier wasn't paying attention to me or willing to help with my order. My order was input in incorrectly and when the manager had to come over and change it she gave me an attitude.I got my food at the table and I expressed at the register that I have a gluten allergy. The atmosphere is fantastic, allowing you to order at the counter while they bring your food right to your table. The service is quick, and the staff is friendly. However, the standout feature is definitely the food. There’s a wide variety of options, and I’ve never had a bad meal here. Some must-try items include the broccoli cheddar soup, the unlimited soda and iced tea, and honestly, you can’t go wrong with any of their salads or sandwiches.
Got a “prize” in my sandwich today. I should start off by saying I love McAlister’s, and in all the times I’ve eaten their food across multiple different shops I have never had this happen. The level of idgaf from the people preparing these sandwiches is astounding. Maybe focus less on the conversation you’re all having together and more into what you’re putting into peoples food before you end up with a lawsuit and no job.
Fantastic food and even better staff! I visited on July 21, 2023, and accidentally lost my wallet, but they returned it to me. I was really impressed by how seriously they took the situation. It's the little things that make a big difference. I will definitely be returning. Thank you once again for the wonderful food and amazing employees at the Mount Prospect location. Food: 5/5.

I had ordered for pick up!The spud was just caked with a ton of cheese melted on top and it was rock solid couldn’t even eat it was horrible!Don’t get me started on the cup of tomato basil soup. Super thick like spaghetti sauceWay to much garlic taste. Only good thing was the four cheese melt but that was just super greasy. I normally never have any issues til today.
This is usually one of my go to placesIt was 8:08 when we walked in. The hours say they are open until 9:00pm. We were told they wanted to clean the tables so we would have to order it to go. If the dining area is closed an hour before they close, that should probably be posted somewhere.Service: 1/5
This was my first time at McAlister 's Deli and I was overall pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the service was great.I think the portion was rather small although the slogan is all about large portions which was slightly disappointing especially for the above-average price.
Vegetarian options: There are plenty of dishes that are naturally vegetarian or can be easily customized to be vegetarian.
Kid-friendliness: The kids' menu offers many customizable options, making it very kid-friendly.

Fast food deli. Had a Reuben and it was ok, nothing special. Sides were ok. If you're looking for a Bagel or Max and Benny's, it isn't. Won't return. Too many alternatives in the area.Food: 4/5
