This is the worst McDonad's that I have ever been to, if you're planning on going through drive-way; just be very mindful that there is only one. That's right, one (1x) waiting bay; otherwise you'll end up with a very long convoy of frustrated people having to wait forever. Parking is really bad during peak periods, off-street parking if you're lucky to find any at all; but otherwise you'll be waiting yet again. Overall recommendations is to go some where else, or if you need to; do it sparingly; but depending on what you're after, I'm sure that there are other places near-by that offer similar things.
Our first time in an Australian McD's.Just arrived from UK and attended a family birthday.The food was very good for this chain. Better choice than UK. The chicken nuggets were top quality and I loved the Aussie burger with the beetroot!There was a great play area outside that the birthday party made full use of.The staff were amazing. They kept the food coming and entertained the kids really well.Top marks!
Decent size parking spots for oldies like me in old tanks.McCafe staff very friendly and dressed neatly.Quick service, we were there just after school finish and they kept up with orders easily.One staff member noticed i had an injury and opened door to assist.Power points available to charge your phone or laptop while your having your coffee.Staff always clearing tables and cleaning.
I always have a great experience at McDonald's Balwyn. I appreciate the convenient drive-through layout and the clean and stylish interior. As a vegan, my options are limited at McDonald's, but I do enjoy a simple black coffee in the morning.

We ordered a large order of fries. They were fresh because we requested for them to be unsalted, and they were perfectly golden and crispy. It was definitely worth the price of only $1, plus we received a monopoly ticket along with it.
The fries were just right - hot and not too crunchy, and the burger was delicious as usual. I almost went for a Big Mac, but I'm happy I stuck with my original choice.
Maccas is Maccas and the Whitehorse Road conforms. Very busy on Sat mornings and lots of kids parties on weekend afternoons. Service in drive thru can be slowish.
