I had never been here before, but had known about it for at least a couple of years. Wanted to try, so I took a friend. He actually spent $27 and I spent $16. Their fries are good, and their club sandwich is good. I think he liked his burger, but he said the salad was too lettucey. I'm not sure exactly what that means, but he said the chocolate moose was thick. It's right by the bus stop for the 20 and 21 coming from fruitvale BART, so it's quite convenient.
The drink the bartender made was fantastic, but unfortunately, they didn't have any food available, which was disappointing for me. I drove out specifically for the food, but there wasn't any. So, if you plan to go for a meal, make sure to have a backup option in mind in case the kitchen is closed. It was my first visit, so I'm not familiar with their kitchen hours.

Hadn't been here in a while. The bartender was prompt and present but not overly attentive or friendly a real pro. Had a few rounds and left. Drinks were good but was surprised by the final bill seemed higher than expected. Double checked the order and it was correct. Book a table now

One of the best bar and grill spots on the West Coast. If they have the Pollo de Mamasita (small mamas, right?), you definitely have to try it. Don't forget to order some tortillas and extra jalapeños!
The corned beef was tasty and lean. However, the potatoes were a bit undercooked, and there wasn’t enough cabbage; just one small wedge didn’t suffice. Book a table now
