Meister Gerhard - Table reservation

My twin brother Stephen and I chanced upon Meister Gerhard as we were wandering around this part of town and what a great find Walking in and I knew I would enjoy my visit here, a traditional authentic interior, great decor and furnishings including a cool looking serving bar and plenty of seating options spread throughout this bar ,a very good place to unwind in. We were here on a Wednesday night, bar was busy with a great atmosphere, greeted warmly by a very pleasant member of staff who served us a beer each,we opted to have Dom Kölsch beer, served in excellent condition, we just kicked back,chilled out and took in the great bar we were in. After being told on the phone to bring some patience with us and that eventually we would find a table, we accepted this and rode across town to the restaurant, only to find a seat within minutes outside on the footpath. The weizen was cold and refreshing, but the Kölsch could have enjoyed a little more chill, but the food was excellent and did not take long. The restaurant had good turnover and the location means that there is not too many cars passing and we had an enjoyable evening.

The ambience is super cozy! There are some vegetarian tapas, some of which are characterized as vegan. Beer and wine are also extracted. You should book this weekend!

I liked everything I ate except the manchego cheese. The octopus and potatoes were superb. Loved the broccoli. The service was friendly. Good Drinks. I would return.
