Mel’s is ALWAYS a good idea but last night (this morning if we wanna get technical) I was there and we ordered several things. Everything was delicious and the service was excellent from the moment we walked in until the time we left. Even the security guard at the entrance is welcoming. I had a question about one of the things we had ordered and our server immediately addressed it and brought her manager over to confirm. The manager was AWESOME!! He wanted to make sure my question was answered to my satisfaction and he went above and beyond to ensure that I was satisfied with the answers. I was beyond satisfied. I was so grateful and impressed by his genuine care for his guests’ experience....
great small key breakfast/lunch snack in the lively and chic interior area. the inner looks like a movie from the 60s. the service was great and the prices were fair. I was with chickens and wagging. the chicken was surprisingly crispy and the waffel was made with ice and speck in it, which was very unique. we made a chocolate milkshake. see this place for lunch in the unique beverly hills opposite. cheers
Went to California to celebrate my sister's wedding. While there our family went to Mel's Dinner TWICE for breakfast. Both times the breakfast was delicious. We got omelets and potatoes, pancakes, waffles and more. We didn't even realize they had multiple locations. The vibe is old school drive-in diner with valet parking, pictures of celebs on the wall and great staff working there. Loved this place.
$12.95 for this sad looking mozzarella the sticks really come? denny is so much better. I also ordered the impossible burger and get it, no dressing at all, they give them only the patty with salat, tomaten and much luck. whaaaaaaaaaaaat. So I got a $17.75 beyond dry-burger. the dinge have changed in this restaurant. sad?.

fantastic! great eating, super service and super friendly staff. beautifully decorated in all 50s style. on every table there is a jukebox where they can play their own music for 25 cent. I recommend Mels drive in any case! I come back in definitiw when I am back in la.
We stopped at Mel‘s on our drive to Santa Monica and had a great vegetarian breakfast und a classy and friendly atmosphere. Was also not really crowded and we liked the Merch.
This place is worth a visit. Good food and plenty of choice with gluten free and vegan options. Vegan milkshakes are delicious. Staff are so welcoming and helpful.
Friendly service, tasty diner-style food, retro atmosphere (jukeboxes, anyone? . It’s just so iconic. And they have enough gluten-free options too.
