Overall, the food is very good, with fantastic vegetarian options! However, I found the dishes to be a bit lacking in sauce for my taste. In the salads I’ve tried, there wasn't enough dressing, and the sandwiches and bowls could use more sauce. Additionally, there wasn't nearly enough salsa to go with the chips, and extra sauce or salsa comes at an additional cost. As others have mentioned, it feels a bit odd and uncomfortable to tip before being served, though I can see how this approach is more efficient for both the restaurant and customers. I'm a WAY back Melt'er but I am done with the place. We've been in 30+ minutes before they close twice now and BOTH times they felt the need to tell us they close within 30 (once 45) minutes. Today we were told they closed in 39 minutes as we ordered nachos. As a result, we got cold chili on nachos and when our nachos were brought, they literally put them on the opposite side of the table I was.sitting so I had to literally get up and bring it to the part of the table my partner and I were sitting. They DID l, however, ask for and take a 10% tip before food service. They never felt the need to ask if we were enjoying the cold chili they'd obviously turned off well before 1/2 hour before clos...
Melt absolutely blew us away! We’re visiting from the east coast, and the kindness and warmth of the staff really touched us. The prices were also so reasonable. And most importantly, the food was incredible. We got the vegan seitan verde, vegan chicken and biscuits, and the tofu scramble. Everything was so flavorful and cooked to perfection. If we end up moving here we will be regulars! Definitely come here if you’re vegan, the quality is right up there with vegan meccas and some of the best food we’ve ever had.

A very polite young man with a beard greeted us as we arrived and left. We were promptly served by a lovely young woman with yellow and black hair. The only issue we encountered was that no one returned to check on us. Nevertheless, I would definitely go back.
