I have to correct my previous review a bit: still the best Turkish restaurant in Gladbeck and the surrounding area! With charcoal grill and real layered meat kebab. The vegetables are always fresh, dips, bread and all sorts of starters are simply delicious. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Now to the reason for the 4/5 stars: The prices have recently become significantly higher as the portions have become smaller, even compared to other restaurants in Gladbeck. Yes, groceries etc. are becoming more expensive for everyone, but now we order from comparable (almost as good stores nearby where you get significantly more for less money. Food was good, not so close to the best one, middle satisfaction I can say. But going to dinner with family and loved ones is a special moment; so the service should be timely. Service was not good. Two of us finished dinner, and others ate 40 minutes later. Team was polite, but people pay for something and except more. Service quality in terms of promptness should be enhanced. I can suggest this place in terms of Food, but not of the service quality. We visited several times after it became Meydan. Now I update my review. Service quality is enhanced. Its atmospher is pretty good for keeping talk with friends.
Very good restaurant. The food was delicious! But that’s not the reason for the 5 stars. The service was of high quality. The staff was very helpful and were always with a smile. We came from the Netherlands, but I would come and visit this place again anytime.
