The atmosphere is vibrant and enjoyable! One day, we decided to order takeout and chose two items. The beef tripe soup was a bit disappointing since it lacked carbohydrates or hominy—just the beef tripe itself. Moreover, there wasn't much onion or lime included. However, it still had a nice flavor. On the other hand, the tamales were quite large! Unfortunately, when we opened them, we found they were mostly filled with corn, which made the corn-to-meat ratio a bit off. Despite this, there are plenty of other dishes on the menu that I’m eager to try. Next time, we plan to dine in!
Without a doubt, this is the best Mexican restaurant in town. The food is delightful, and the portion sizes are generous at reasonable prices. They also have a BYOB policy, which adds to the fun atmosphere. I've been there multiple times, and every visit has been wonderful. I prefer this location over the one in Kearny primarily because it's more spacious, but both are exceptional. The service is top-notch as well. I highly recommend it!
The overall environment here was nice and welcoming however the food was OK. It felt like every dish needed an extra something to make it taste better, felt rather bland. They did mess up half of our orders by not putting sauce/spices on the side (not a big deal but to be noted).

I absolutely love the tamales verde! The chicken flautas are also the best. As for the horchata juice, it's great. Overall, I would rate the food a 5, but the service and atmosphere could use some improvement, giving them both a 2.
We have our favorite dishes that we always order, and each visit is enjoyable. Everything from the steak to the vegetarian options is delicious. Plus, the outdoor seating is ideal for when we bring our dogs. Thank you, Mi Pueblito!
I had an excellent experience with the tacos here; I tried the Al Pastor, and they were full of flavor. The trio of tacos is quite filling as well. Additionally, the salsa that comes with the chips was delicious!
