I’m writing this for my father. He was craving Mott Street NYC shrimp and calamari but didn’t feel like going to the City. He was in the area and decided to give this place a try. He was very impressed and said it was just as good if not better than Little Italy! It wasn’t exactly on the menu but they still went out of the way to accommodate him-biscuits and all! He also said the people were very friendly. Can’t wait to try Michel Angelo’s too! -From Tom Fico of New Jersey
Macaroni and clams . Not sure if they were even clams! Diced up in red sauce with posta. I’ve had posta and clams countless times and this dish resembled nothing I have ever seen or eaten! Service was poor and over priced as well. Lemon water ? No lemons or straws. Not a good experience unfortunately! Place smelled of bad fish frying oil. Ordered a chicken Parm sandwich for lunch. Took it to go. Portion was satisfying but the sandwich just tasted like the old fish oil. Couldn’t taste the marinara at all. Wouldn’t go back.
