Finally. After many years of enjoyable dining in Highlands, we had a TERRIBLE dining experience at Midpoint. This was actually our third, and I'm sure our LAST bad experience at this restaurant! We will not return again. I've had bad service before, for various reasons....short staff, failed equipment, orders misplaced and/or mixed up. But in most cases the management and staff were aware and extremely apologetic. Today at Midpoint they seemed oblivious to the numerous complaints from the surrounding tables and taking over two hours to complete lunch. 1/2 hr. waiting for appetizers. 20 more min, waiting for salad. Then almost an hour more waiting for the main course. Ice tea glasses not refi...
Fabulous restaurant with fine menu, delicious food and attentive servers! Our party of three shared two salads to start — the beet fennel and the calamari — both full of flavor! I chose the Thai Sea Bass special and it did not disappoint! My sister opted for the Artichoke Crusted Halibut and the plate looked beautiful! She ate every bite! I'm not a fan of trout, but my Mom raves about her meal! All restaurant prices have gone up, but I think $15 for a lemon drop martini is expensive. Regardless, we will be back!!!
Nice restaurant for Highlands but has a higher regard for itself then their customers. To summarize our experience. Food was very inconsistent, service was very good but the food and drinks are grossly overpriced. I spent $30 for one glass of wine and the smallest glass I have every seen for a martini was $25.
Always a great meal with incredible choices. Excellent wine selections. Try to get Layla to be your server. She makes the experience complete. It is a pleasure to meet someone who loves their job and is incredibly dedicated and pleasant. Don't miss Midpoint in Highlands. Recommend reservation

Consistently one of if not the best restaurant in Highlands. Service, once seated (they can get behind quickly) is always excellent with friendly and knowledgeable waitstaff. Food is original, varied and outstanding. Not cheap but worth it.
Drinks were great. Hugs ordered the beef bourgignon had about 4 bites of beef and 4 bites of carrots in it for $30+ a little crazy. The sauce for my halibut sounded amazing the dish was bland. Service was good.
Superb service. Amazing food. All six of us ordered different entrees. All six praised their choice.Not inexpensive but we were very pleased with the quality of the food.The menu has something for everyone.
First time there, food and service was exceptional. We will definitely make a reservation again next time we are in the Highlands.
