Best Restaurant. Three of us dined in 4 restarants over our 4 nights in the area. We dined at two in Highlands and two in Cashiers. Of the four restaurants Wolfgang's is the only one where we all agreed that the meal was excellent. Now this is not to be confused with Wolfgang Pucks they will be quick to tell you that there is no affiliation. Perfect location right on the main strip. We stopped between lunch and dinner. They were supposed to be full, but they had empty tables. Certainly, a staff problem could be. We just wanted drinks and an appetizer for a party of four. Low maintenance. Eating was good, had gluten-free options (manager came by to discuss with my wife) and drinks were solid. The onion soup is excellent. The shrimp &Lobster bisque was inedible but to be fair some people like soup with salt that is the prominent ingredient. The rolls served with it were stale and cold. I had the lamb for dinner the vegetables and potatoes were excellent the veal was 1 rib and the rest was medallion tender but covered and basted with so much sauce that it was all you tasted. It was very pretty as far as presentation. My husband had the salmon no complaints. We have eaten at Wolfgang’s for 7 years of visiting Highlands about 3-4 visits each time. It’s become a hit or miss since last year. No longer the only show in town!

OUTSTANDING meal! Appetizer, mains, desserts, and drinks were all perfection. Service was the definition of southern hospitality. We sat on the covered patio and didn't feel rushed, even as things got busier around us. Alcohol-free options were easy here, as the bartender made every drink to order and was happy to recommended several NA options. The martini-style drink does not contain any alcohol and wasn't overly sweet. Divine!
Excellent food service! We had Haley as our server and she was super friendly attentive. We had the cream cheese jalapeño dip to start and it was delicious. I had a salty dog from the bar and it was very tasty. We both chose the apricot honey chicken as the main course and I can?t recommend it enough. Everything was absolutely delicious and it had a wonderful ambience. Overall lovely experience.
The food, atmosphere, service, drinks, and our server were all fantastic! Our party of six had a wonderful evening, and we can't wait for our next dinner at Wolfgang's! Make sure to try the onion soup; it's the best you'll ever have!
Always a good choice. Great margaritas and unique dishes. Carnitas seems to have changed - I didn't care what wet sauce it was on top of. It dampened the carnitas. The service was somewhat inattentive during this visit.

The waiter was an idiot, tried to sell everything and was rude and slow to bring everything we asked for. The food was mediocre at best, the sauces were over the top and the tortillas tasted stale. Wouldn't recommend!
We celebrated mom’s 75th birthday and it was absolutely perfect. Highly recommend the braised short ribs.
