We bought lunch take away this week. The basil stir fry dish was lacking flavour and a million miles different from the way it is made in thailand. The same noodle dish was ordered by four other people in our group, but the dish varied between the group. One persons was dry and flavourless. The others had a satisfactory version. Inconsistent. This place seems to have a good reputation, but Im definitely voting to try another place next time. Its not up to scratch as far as thai food goes. Its not good enough when there are other thai places in the street. Pick up your game.
Came for first time with a friend who's a regular. As mentioned by other guests, restaurant is highly recommended if you're in the area. They also have a separate gluten-free menu (my friend is a coleac).Prices decent, servings pretty generous ( I ordered the green papaya salad with soft shelled crabs and it was massive to finish by just one person), and ambience great. Not a very big restaurant so reservation might be in order if you come at popular meal times?
Meals were nice. Service was pretty good. Price was OK. Place was chockers, which confirms the quality of the meals. We've been there several times now and the worst aspect is all the hard surfaces that lead to a nice of shouting just to converse, which get's tiresome.
Wanting a quick meal this was a good choice! The Red Duck Curry was served with lychees, pineapple and tomato had traditional flavour. A good size meal at s reasonable price. Wait staff attentive without rushing you.

Really nice Thai food and at a decent price. The restaurant has plenty of tables but is only small so can get noisy but it is a great little restaurant for small or large groups. Lovely food and staff. Will be back
We are never keen to eat in here though on a busy night as the restaurant can get really noisy and it's difficult to hold a conversation with someone. The take away / home delivery is great.
We love Mie Thai. We come here whenever we're back from overseas and in Gymea visiting friends. Great food, very comfortable welcoming ambience, friendly staff. Highly recommended!

ne of the better thai cafes around the shire. my fave dish is the steak dish, very nice, not the cheapest but good service and consistently good food.
