this is our second time to eat here. the first time when they first opened and at this time, except the server inexperienced, eating was good, but over price for quality. Yesterday, eating was really so disappointing. we started with the guacamole and this time it lacked the acid and the shame of lime juice. we asked for medium heat, and it had no heat at all. it just tasted like simple avocados. we also ordered the garnels in tequila for an appetizer and the broth was very tasteful and garlicky, but they should perhaps garnel the instead for some extra taste. we sat on a table that had eaten sauce on the floor, and did not even look as if everything was tried to be cleansed, it was just left there. the table where we sat was right in front of a “step” where the dj built. When he started playing music, we could hardly hear each other during the conversation. fortunately, the personal has brought us to another table. eating was ok, drinks (margaritas) seemed to water down.
Sat down in booth and seat was covered with food/crumbs. Hostess watched us brush it off before coming back several minutes later offering to reseat us. I had enchiladas which were delicious but did not arrive hot. Manager made it right. Not sure I am willing to try it again.
the ambiente was beautiful and hip. Drinking eating and presentation was great. the waiter needed a because to welcome us. 5 drinks, 2 apps, 5 does not design dessert with tip 70$ per person (party of 5). boot table at the bar was funny, but very loud-heavy to run talks.
