The name suggests an Italian Sandwich Place serving robust lunches with chunks of veal or smoked meat and cheese in Crusty bread, but alas, you are in for a disappointment. The counter overlooking an open kitchen is a good idea if you have cooks with good social and guest contact skills, but this disappoints as well. The Sandwiches are overpriced for the quality you get. I ordered a grilled chicken Breast sandwich, which was very mediocre. The chicken breast sliver was mismatched with a round bun instead of a sub. The sandwich was not layered professionally. The menu indicated it was served with Tzatziki, Onions and Lettuce. I would have expected the chicken breast to be stacked with grilled...
Fast efficient service operating like a mall food court outlet but in a standalone location. Very good value. The food is 3 star which is good. Extensive sandwich menu a few hot cafeteria style items like Lasagna. The service was friendly and efficient 4 star. The atmosphere was clean and cheery. Ample parking. I had a Chicken Souvlaki dinner with Greek potatoes (roast potatoes with tomato sauce on them). Greek salad was Good. The chicken was food court quality. Greek fries were french fries with feta and salad dressing on them.
I've been working in the area for 9yrs and never came here until last night. If you can't find something to eat here there's a problem. What I really liked, is everything was cooked fresh(So you may wait a few minutes) The food was good too. This isn't elegant dining just good on the go food. The owner is a character and I mean that in a flattering way. Very friendly! I will come back here and I'm glad I finally discovered this place!
The restaurant has lots of space, with different partitions for private parties. Buffet lunch and dinner are budget priced, almost lowest in the market, and hence you cannot expect too much on food quality or delicacies. That also explains why it is always full house. Dinner has early and late seatings, like a cruise.
