Food was amazing. Our Waiter, Kris, was brilliant and knowledgeable and even helped with the wine selection by offering me a couple of their best wines to try, and answering any and all questions we had as it was our first visit to Miller and Carter (first of many). We both ordered Ribeye steaks, one 16oz and a 12oz, and both of us were so surprised by the amazing quality and value for money. These plate-sized steaks came with chips, salad and sauce for not much more than you’d pay in a pub. My 16oz plus sides was £36, and was one of the best steaks I’ve had in recent memory. Great place and would recommend it
The server was good but the food was not up to the usual standard yesterday. We had the salmon that tasted burnt and the crushed potatoes advertised on the menu were about half a pound of potatoes (not crushed) with no taste at all. We had a well done streak that was so over done it was hard to cut. We didn’t complain as had to wait ages for food but was told it was because the steak was to be well done so it all took longer. It was my sister in law's birthday so I took her and my nephews out to celebrate at Miller Carter and we all had a swell time. The lovely Emily attended to us and was just brilliant. She listened to what we wanted, gave us time to decide what we wanted to have. She was amazing with my two little nephews. Emily made our experience so relaxing and I will definitely come back.
