Today, we decided to give it another try, but the experience was not much improved. The waitress was quite unfriendly; she only spoke to me directly once when she brought my plates. This made for an awkward moment as I was waiting for her to ask me what I wanted, only to turn around and find her staring at me expectantly. The food took a long time to arrive, especially considering there were only about 3-4 other tables occupied. My grandmother received her meal first, and mine came about seven minutes later. She ordered a fried rice bowl, and the fried rice looked pitiful—more like plain rice with a hint of egg than anything resembling fried rice. I ordered nigiri—three orders of salmon, two...
I love the food. Never have an issue with that. My problem is the wait. I’ve ordered 3 times now, 2 times over the phone and today I placed an online order. Each time I have to wait an extra 10-15 minutes for my food after they give me a 15-20 min wait on the phone. While I am standing and waiting for my food, they make it while in-front of me. As a previous employee of the previous owner I am upset that I now have to wait even longer for food that should’ve been ready for pick up. If it’s going to be longer say it over the phone. I don’t know if it’s laziness or what but im disappointed with the service.
I had a fantastic experience at this restaurant! The food was excellent, and the staff were very friendly and attentive. This place is truly a gem in Ozark and is definitely a must-try! I ordered takeout for lunch, and the price per person was $10–20. I give the food, service, and atmosphere all a perfect score of 5. I highly recommend trying the Hibachi Steak, Roll, Kids Chicken Teriyaki, and Yum Yum Maki.
I absolutely adore this restaurant. Their food is excellent and they give you good portions for the meals. The staff are always so friendly and the ambience is very laid back. Very pleasantly surprised with the food! Chicken hibachi was great, my kids loved the chicken boat, and the California roll! GREAT crab Rangoon. Great portions. Will order again. Service: Take out Meal type: Dinner
This cozy spot may not get a lot of publicity, but the food and service are outstanding! If you're in or passing through Ozark, AL, you definitely need to give it a try!
