the tasting menu was extremely disjoined, much too sweet and absurd gimmicky some dishes were so bad that they were edible, namely the ohr of the fried swan in a bright blue, viscous gopp and then muscheln flambéed table side for all maybe 5-10 seconds, then served in a ground raw over boiled cervical rice. gag induced. other dishes simply did not even make sense in the progression of the tasting menu: an overwhelming, overly sweet deconstructed and then reconstructed granny plate, which was essentially a sorbet in the middle of the tasting menu. and then a dish was even skipped and then served out the order the server were clearly reworked to create many tables, this did not allow time to r...
The fish (Rape) first way too much salt, Second try the fish was almost raw. Third time ok. Dessert was nothing special. Ambiente: If you are on the terrace great view, if you are seated in the room (as we were thogh reserved well in advance) the ambiente is terrible.
we had a table overlooking sebastian and it was a solutely breathtaking. we had the menu of the cook and it was exquisite. that is an absolute must in san sebastian
The vegetarian menu did not hit the michelin-level bad variation in the flavors all smoothed. Stressed waiters were probably due to understaffing.
