I had a terrible dining experience at this restaurant. It was the worst meal I have ever had. I asked for my tacos to be served in a bowl, which is a common request at Mexican restaurants. However, I was only served with plain mushrooms, avocados, tomatoes, and canned jalapeños. There was no seasoning or flavor to the dish. It was not what the waiter had described, as I was told it would be served on a bed of salad. The meal was disappointing and overpriced.
The food we had was pretty good, especially the guacamole. A little disappointed that the place was advertised as vegan friendly, however, there were only a couple of vegan options on the menu. Also felt like my carne asada was overdone. I didn't have a beer but they had a lot of interesting options on the menu.
It's not bad but also not good the service and atmosphere is good I will say. Tacos are underwhelming and so is the burritos here. What was not based was the asada fries and the torta may not be traditional but were good enough to eat. Got a pitcher of margarita which wasn't bad either and priced decently.
When I visit St. Louis, it's usually difficult for me to find vegan options, but I was pleasantly surprised to see they had vegan beef and vegan cheese at this restaurant. The dish was delicious and paired perfectly with my margarita. Book a table now
This restaurant is amazing. The service was excellent. The carne asada fries make a great appetizer and the burrito was absolutely delicious.
Never a bad experience here. Cant go wrong with the side street corn and the hot chicken tacos! Empanadas are always a good choice too!
