Mitchell’s has always been “solid.” On the other hand, I can’t remember when I’ve eaten a meal that I would consider memorable. Tonight was different my wife, who has multiple dietary restrictions, was able to eat “real” food at a restaurant. That alone would be considered memorable. Then there was my meal a piece of swordfish on a smear of romesco sauce and mashed purple potatoes. It was exceptional; one of the best fish dishes I’ve had in a long time. Our friend, visiting from out of town, commented several times how much he enjoyed his meal. Mitchell’s served up a memorable meal I’ll be looking forward to the next one.
Our luncheon experience in the bar area was exceptional thanks to the wonderful server (sorry don't catch her name). Service was outstanding and food delicious as always. Our only complaint was the noise level of the music. In the more than 15+ years I have been enjoying Mitchell's this has been an on going annoyance. My guests and I usually enjoy a conversation without straining to hear or constantly asking for repeats because of the excessive background noise.
Staff was attentive and courteous throughout the visit, the decor was steakhouse standard subdued lighting, dark wood and hues all earthy, recently updated and clean, maybe too tightly arranged as walking anywhere with anyone else in the path required both parties to accommodate each other. I had the whitefish and everything was as good as it gets anywhere I 've been from CA to NY no disappointments in any expectation.
Visited Mitchell’s for a happy hour drink and the drinks were well priced and tasty but not very strong. We had spinach dip for an appetizer which was pretty good and traditional. Shrimp scampi and spicy shrimp were the entrees and we ate every bite. The environment is very comfortable and the service was polite. The menu is kind of limited but I would recommend this location for a nice dinner date!

Have been at Mitchell's 3 years ago( I live in Italy) came back here for a trade show and host guests at this restaurant. Considering the current situation , they did a good job : waitress and kitchen . Awsome food , good wine, good company , good atmosphere. Will be back in September for sure . CIAO Giorgio
The menu has so many delicious sounding items it was hard to decide. The restaurant was busy but the staff was attentive and friendly. I highly recommend stopping in but make a reservation first. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection.
The food was good, not great. Unfortunately, the noise level made it difficult for our party of eight to hear each other across the table. Service and value were good.
All food was tasty and served hot. Drinks were good. Server needed to check on the water refills more often. Drink service was slow as well.

Food was disappointing no taste. Chicken parm have no taste and the salmon was salt. Waiter was very inattentive.
Service was great. Food choices came quickly. Wait staff was very efficient.
