A co-worker wanted to get some ice cream after we had dinner. He used his phone to search for a highly rated ice cream shop, and we ended up at Mlle Catherine. The line up was long, and once inside it is difficult to see the menu, until you are fairly close to ordering. The vibe I got is that the ice cream was an add on to the boutique shop, probably better off expanding the ice cream operations to include more area of the store. I ordered the vanilla ice cream dipped in salted caramel, it was good, but not worth the wait.
This restaurant in Montréal is the most charming and delightful place. It was definitely the high point of my trip!
Great location, amayzing service and amayzing coffee and ice cream! Also, a very comfy terrasse!
