We had the luxury of catering food from Moes at Garwood and I can honestly say it was an excellent experience in every step of the way. Coordinating with the owner, Smita Gandhi, was a seamless experience. We gave her a date that we needed the food andshe was able to quickly give us a time for us to coordinate the pickup. On the day of pickup, everything was extremely wellorganized in boxes for us to pick up with a ton of food (we had an abundant amount of leftovers and happy guests). Visited Moe's in Garwood one Saturday late afternoon after getting my dog groomed. The restaurant was empty and looked clean. I ordered the chicken bowl with white rice, red beans, shredded cheese, shredded lettuce, pico de gallo, peppers, mushrooms,guacamole and cilantro. The choices could have been a little fresher looking. Overall, it wasn't too bad, but the cilantrodefinitely was a little dried out. The plus for me: free chips and salsa with every order. Since I luv guac, I wanted extra onmy salad and that in place of the salsa. The worker, who was very nice and helpful, put some in a bowl. I enjoyed the chips,which I heated up for a few and guac.
Went here for the first time a couple weeks ago and the food was better than chipotle to be honest with the array of options with seasoned rice or plane which I really liked, but the option also extended to have seasoned or unseasoned chicken witch Iloved. Also another thing Moe's has that chipotle does not is the bacon bits that taste amazing.
Workers are nice but, the portion sizes for the food compared to cost seem unfair to the customer, and the quality of the food certainly does not make up for it at all. You do get free chips with every meal but they are awfully stale and have no flavorcompared to chipotles chips that have a hint of lemon and salt.
