"Absolutely the WORST excuse for a seafood basket I've seen in a long time. Miniscule pieces of rancid fish; dried up, revolting rubber bands pretending to be calamari; a greasy old prawn that seemed like it fell out of a bait bag. I threw mine straight in the bin but my employee ate his own meal and now has a stomach ache."

Fish and chips Fridays (in search for the best fish and chips in Sydney We tried Mohr Fish which is near Ate Rynn's workplace Ordered one Seafood Basket and one Beer Battered Fish with chips for take-away. Both served with lemon and Mohr Fish own tartar sauce. The chips was cooked well and had enough salt to taste Was a bit disappointed though because the Seafood Basket did not have garlic prawns. The fried fish on the seafood basket is better than the other one because it looks like the fish was not cooked well the taste of the beer batter was still dominant (not crunchy enough) Plus their waiter does not look friendly or looked tired at 1:15 pm (they open at 11am).

On a chilly eve in early oct, we were rearing to have nice seafood. Mohr fish was around and seemed like a nice restaurant. We ordered half a dozen oysters and the fish pie. They were kind enough to offer complimentary bread and butter (the bread could have been warmer). The oysters were well prepared. The fish pie came with salad on the side after a rather long wait. It was nice and baked to perfection. However, the Salmon was overdone and there was depth missing probably less cheesy for my taste). Overall good.

I have been a regular here for years, it appears to now have been bought out by new Asian owners I will never return again. The Barramundi dish I have had many times was absolutely revolting, very strong, off, fishy taste. Inedible. myself and my friend sent the dish back to the kitchen and were subsequently told by the waitress that the fish was frozen. Extremely sad and disappointing for the legacy of this business.

I've been a regular customer for over 10 years always loved it appears it's been bought out by new Asian not the same once who had it for years, now it's so tasteless apparently new owner is using frozen fish no more fresh seafood. Waitress at the front who can't speak English is so rude as well. Shame our community lost one of the best restaurants in the area.
