exactly what we were looking for and thought we would never find. FRENCH FOOD. a cozy place, whose sole occupant (owner/chef) had a wonderful, warm personality. it's a pity we were not staying in the area, we would have loved to go back...we'll visit again on our next trip! it was after 1pm, and we thought we would run into the usual, "FERME!" with a surly snarl, brusque service because our french wasn't perfect, and average food. quelle surprise! wanting to get off the main road, we followed a winding lane up & up towards a monastery, not really knowing what to expect. we ended up in a lovely village with all the expected provencal charm, and had a lovingly cooked poulet emincee with proven...

This is a cozy restaurant with amazing food. My family and I were trying to find lunch on our way to visit Abbaye du Thoronet. Everywhere else was closed, so we finally came across Mon Paradis Provencal. The chef/owner was about to close and was sold out of most of the menu, but told us he could make us some sandwiches. This may have been the best sandwich of my life, and I mean that seriously. He, and his family, were so kind to us and talked with us for a short time before we left. On a side note, my mom left her purse, and they waited for us to realize and comeback before closing up for the day (approx. 30 minutes). If you are looking for a cozy place to eat I would highly recommend Mon P...

The food in our hotel in Le Thoronet was overpriced and tasteless so we set out to walk around and see what else was available. Mon Paradis Provencal is a small shop unit on the main street with four or five small tables on the road itself. Thankfully it is quiet in the evening. We walked past a few times before taking a risk. What a good decision. The couple who run the restaurant are very hospitable and fun. The food was good, honest, home made and tasty. Part of the experience is choosing the food from what is cooking in the kitchen. We had a great evening. Give it a try.

Lovely atmosphere, food and service on a beautiful summer's evening. We had a superb, local main course followed by a lemon tart which was out of this world. Fantastic hosts.
