I absolutely loved the "Tamarind Fish" at this restaurant. The Fried Barramundi Fillet with Montien's special sweet chilli tamarind sauce, pineapple, and lychee was so delicious that I even tried to recreate the sauce at home. To my surprise, I was able to successful replicate it, and now I make my own version of it every week. Whether or not you enjoy duplicating recipes, I highly suggest trying this delightful dish if you visit this restaurant. I would definitely order it again!
I have visited this restaurant twice and on both occasions, the food has been exceptional. The portion sizes are just right, the vegetables are fresh, the chicken is perfectly cooked, and the sauces are delicious. In contrast to other Thai restaurants I have tried, where the food is often too sweet, the vegetables are stale, or the chicken is dry from overcooking, this place is the complete opposite. It has become my preferred Thai restaurant.
It felt like the staff wanted us to go away faster. They delayed the drinks. Me and my friend also felt discriminated against other patrons because we were not white. I am not going to be returning to this place. I do not tolerate discrimination by any methods esp by my race.
Excellent food, very fresh and tasty. Service was very good, without being pushy! No restrictions on the time we spent there. Great menu, will certainly go again. Recommend everyone to try it. Book a table now
Amazing thai food, highly recommended.. good vibes only ; I had green curry with coconut rice, and it was super yummm!!!! Loved the ambience and friendly staff!!
I order my food without chilli but the waitress said my choice of plate is not spicy! But yes, it was very spicy and I don’t like chilli.
It was really hoy that day and they had all there doors open and no aircon on. When they had it right there. Just sweated
